Sizes and alterations

Everything we sell is made in our standard sizes, to the size guide published on this site. Pieces are not cut to a child’s individual measurements, and choosing the right size is yours to do — please use the chart, or ask us, before you order.

A small alteration is sometimes possible, but only by arrangement before an order is placed: write to us with the piece and what you need, and we will tell you whether it can be done and on what terms. There is no way to request one at checkout, and an alteration cannot be added to an order afterwards.

Orders cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind or a change of size. See the cancellation & refund policy, which also sets out what happens when a piece arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. Shipping, where charged, is shown separately at checkout.
• Payment is taken online at the time of ordering, through Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
• Prices can change, but never for an order you have already paid for.
• If a price is listed in obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price. We will tell you if this happens.

Accepting your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email is acknowledgement that we received it. We may decline an order — if a fabric has run out, if a pincode is not serviceable, or if we cannot make the piece in the size ordered — and will refund you in full when we do. You may cancel your order yourself within 2 hours of placing it, from your order page; after that it cannot be cancelled.

Colour and print placement

Screens show colour imperfectly, so a shade may look slightly different in person. Where a print is cut across panels, the exact placement of a motif can differ from the photograph. Neither is treated as a defect.

Your account

You must be 18 or over to make an account or place an order. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account that is being used fraudulently or to abuse the site.

Using this site

The photographs, text, designs and prints on this site belong to Panchhe. You may not copy them for commercial use. Please do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not post reviews that are false, abusive or not your own experience — we read every review before it appears.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for the pieces we make and for putting things right when we get them wrong. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather or events outside our control, though we will always help you chase them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be contracted out of.

Complaints and the Grievance Officer

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules: Rashmi Tibrewal, Proprietor and Grievance Officer, panchhe.official@gmail.com, +91 90517 17215. Complaints can be made through our complaints page, are acknowledged with a copy of the complaint as recorded within 48 hours, and are resolved within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in).

Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Kolkata have jurisdiction. We would far rather sort out a problem by email — write to us first and we will do our best.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to your order.
